Touch of Orange

Shirt- Remain (Nordstrom)
Jeans- True Religion
Boots- Velvet Angels

Well we are halfway through the week which is better then the beginning. One of my favorite sayings is "The first 5 days after the weekend are always the hardest" :) I don't wear orange very often but I really like shirts with cut out shoulders, plus this is really a red/orange. To top it off I decided to rock the Miley Cyrus hair style.

  1. I feel like reading this blog is going to drain my wallet, haha! I've already bought a few items you've worn in your outfit posts, and it looks like the orange top is going to be next! I got a ton of compliments on the one from Guess that you linked me to a while back! :)

But weren't the jeans and boots a little hot, or did you have mild weather?

  2. Hi Mim,

I'm so happy you were able to still find the Guess shirt AND get compliments on it! My wallet is in the same boat as yours- it's just the price of having a fashion obsession:)

The weather wasn't too bad yesterday, 70's I think...plus I was in the office most of the day so it wasn't really a problem. I do live in the wrong climate to hoard as many boots as I do...

  3. That's why I like Fall so much! It's easily the most versatile season as far as fashion is concerned. You can get away with shorts and sandals or jeans and boots whenever you'd like!

I also need to add that I LOVE True Religion! Lord knows how many hundreds I've spent on their brand. Best fit hands down (at least in my opinion)!

I don't know how much more of your blog my college budget can take! :P I'm about to go spend $80~ on a draped halter top from Remain. I'll probably need to hide my debit card after this.

    1. Yes I agree about Fall, I wish it lasted longer! True Religions are great and I love each of the pairs I own but Hudson is probably my favorite brand- True religion is a close 2nd:)

I know what you mean about hiding your debit card- I could easily spend every pay check on clothes, but I had to learn that lesson the hard way, lol.

  4. Stephanie,

Great outfit. The orange Guess top is stylish indeed, and perfect for an evening of bar or club hopping.

Looks like you dodged the heat wave. You would have baked in the skinnies and ankle boots.

Two months from now, you can wear a pair of heeled knee-highs with that outfit.

    1. You're right about the high knee boots, they'd look great with this outfit:) My Report high knee boots are one of my favorite things in my closet- I talk about them often and can't wait to start wearing them again! Thanks for reading!
